friend:list is the first one of our collaborative initiatives that we want to share with you and it’s here.

There’s a lot that we can learn from friends that inspire us. And we just can’t ignore that there are lots of awesome people around us who happen to listen to very tasteful and interesting music, whom we are lucky to call friends.

So we decided to create this series of playlists curated by some of them. The faces you’ll see in the future and the sound you’ll hear from them may be very-very different but there is a thing that will unite them all. It’s the appreciation of good music. 

To be clear, we don’t set any agenda or mood when we ask them to compile a playlist for this series. They are free-form and that excites us to see what they will be sharing with us.

The first edition of this is a playlist by HOV (Hovsep Aghjian) our fellow artistic soul from Beirut, who moved to Yerevan a couple of years ago. Despite being here for such a short period of time he managed to have very crucial influence on the local underground music scene by not just inspiring people to make more music but also teaching a lot of newcomers on how to produce.
